You’ll now be able to drive in both ViaVan Blue and ViaVan Flex modes! With ViaVan Blue mode, you’ll be able to earn hourly for time spent on the road.
What is ViaVan Blue?
ViaVan Blue mode is ViaVan’s hourly guaranteed payment. Once you’re online and at your terminal, you’ll begin earning hourly – whether you have a rider on board or not!
How do I get paid in ViaVan Blue?
Since you’re being compensated hourly, you will not receive receipts after each trip. ViaVan Blue rates vary by hour of the day.
Just like Rocket Premiums in Flex Mode, you can earn on top of your guaranteed earnings in Blue Mode with our Special Unlock Offer.
How does the app work in ViaVan Blue?
The app will direct you to a Terminal, where you will wait for your first ride
Once you are online in Blue Mode, you will be assigned a “Terminal”, a location where you can wait for rides. The app will give you driving instructions to this Terminal.
Your hourly payment will start when you arrive at the Terminal location and tap “I’m here” in the app, or when you are assigned your first ride – whichever comes first.
If you have a rider onboard when the promotion begins, you will automatically transition to ViaVan Blue Mode. “Blue Mode” will always appear at the bottom of the screen in your Driver app when you are in ViaVan Blue Mode.
You’ll receive a text from Live Support with your start time.
Rides are automatically assigned to your vehicle
In Blue Mode you’ll earn by the hour and rides will be automatically added to your app. You will not accept or reject new ride offers. Keep an eye on your tasks for incoming pickups.
Once a ride is assigned, please head straight to your pick up!
Tap ‘End Shift’ to go offline
You continue to earn until you take a break (these are unpaid), you end your shift, or the ViaVan Blue Mode hours are over. Your break time does not count towards unlocking any bonus rates (if applicable). To go offline, tap ‘End Shift’.
You’ll need to finish all pending assignments before going off shift, so make sure to end your shift a bit before you want to stop driving.
