ViaVan’s Flex Promo – Earnings Guarantees!

Complete promo requirements while in flex mode during the time specified in your promo message and earn £££ guaranteed!

Here’s what a promo message might look like:

Requirements:  

  • Drive in Flex Mode during the promotion period
  • Complete at least the number of pickups indicated in the message received during the promotion period
  • Confirm availability for at least 80% (or as otherwise stated) of rides offered during the promotion period

What is an Earnings Guarantee?

An Earnings Guarantee is a minimum amount you are guaranteed to earn before ViaVan’s service fee* within a given time period as long as you meet certain conditions. 

If you meet the conditions and earn less than the guaranteed amount, we’ll top up your earnings! Drivers can earn a maximum of one Earnings Guarantee per driver per day. If multiple Earnings Guarantees are earned, you will be paid the higher amount!

*Note that a 15% service fee will be applied to any earned amount, including promo earnings.

How do I qualify for an Earnings Guarantee?

You must complete at least as many pickups as indicated in the text message you received. A pickup is considered “completed” if you confirm your availability for the ride and successfully pick up the passenger(s).

In order to qualify, you must also confirm your availability for at least 80% (or as otherwise stated) of the rides you are offered during the entire promo period.

Offer is valid only for the date and time period specified in the message received, and only to the active ViaVan Driver Partners in good standing with ViaVan who have received that message. Any unauthorised or fraudulent behaviour will automatically result in disqualification from the promo.

How does payment work?

You will receive at least the Earnings Guarantee as long as you meet the requirements of the promotion.

ViaVan will review your earnings from each ride during the promo period. If the total earnings during the promo period are less than the Earnings Guarantee amount, we will pay you a top-up amount. You will see the top-up amount in the “other” section of your pay report in the week following the promotion.

If you earn equivalent of the Guarantee amount or more during the promo period, you will not receive an additional payment and will be compensated for all rides as usual.

Key things to remember

Service Fee: All Guarantees are subject to ViaVan’s 15% Flex Service Fee.

Pickup Requirements: You must complete the minimum number of pickups (i.e. passenger bookings) during the promotion period to qualify. A pickup is considered “completed” if you confirm your availability for the ride and successfully pick up the passenger. No-shows and cancellations do not count towards completed pickups.

Count of pickups includes both private and shared ride pickups:

  • If a rider books for 2 passengers, this will count as a single pickup.
  • If two riders book separately, this will count as two pickups.

Extra Pickups: If you do more than the minimum required number of pickups, you will keep the earnings you generate for these rides. We will consider these as part of your total earnings in the promotional period when calculating your ‘top-up’ payment.

Availability Confirmation Requirements: You must confirm your availability for at least 80% (or as otherwise stated) of the rides you are offered during the entire promotion period to qualify. Pickups of additional bookings that are assigned to you automatically during shared rides do not count towards your availability confirmation rate.

Unauthorised and fraudulent behaviour: Offer is valid only for the date and time period specified in the message received and is reserved to active Driver Partners who are in good standing with ViaVan at all times from the receipt of this message up to and including the time of payment. Should ViaVan identify that rides are not completed as requested, including any attempts of system abuse, fraudulent or unauthorised behaviour (including the choice of artificially long routes), the Driver Partner will automatically and in all respects be disqualified from this promotion. Confirming your availability for a ride and not proceeding to the pick-up point, or not picking up the passenger(s) (other than in the case of a no-show or cancellation by the passenger(s)), or picking up the passenger(s) but not dropping them off at the requested destination, will disqualify you from this offer.
